works in progress,
little scoops of love. love em! oxoxxo
Thank you, accepted with pleasure! I esp. love the one filled with hair, because of the hair, of course, I'm fairly predictable here, but because it is pouch-shaped, offers and withholds depth and dark and all kinds of strange things. There's something growing, something bristling. A bit of fume maybe too. What are the pills for? Or are they candy? Strange that they should be almost earth-tinted. I can almost hear: open wide, a mother to her kid, although in that case it would be tincture in the spoon. The kid's feeling that the spoon is always too big for her mouth, might nip that thingemy at the back of her throat (name if there is one escapes me), now I can feel that tickling/choking sensation too. Back to the pouch!
Really delicious work! Just love it!
simply beautiful. beautifully simple.
:)))...........Woww!Gooseflesh while watching the left one.....the right one: scooping water to drink...
i've missed your spoons...

Such lovely spoons. Vessels of such depth...
visual poetry! beautiful!
Wonderful! I love their beautiful simplicity:)
It's been a while since I've been in Blogland and it is a real pleasure to click on your blog and see that you are still making mouthwateringly beautiful things. I wish you lived in England so that I'd get a chance to see these treasures in the flesh.
Kruse, I had the pleasure...Can I tell you, that they are just as beautiful in person?
Just like their maker, might I add..
oahhh... took my breath a snatch there for a second... the title, i think first, then the hair in the depths of the first ! the shape for water, i think, and the offer is more sacred, unexpected... love the short handled one; the pills, they bounce me to so many ideas about culture and the use of medication and what i see, which is too many people doing "drugs for depression" that helps them then go ahead and hurt themselves... ooohhh... shouldn't say that, should i?they are powerful in a simplcity so elegant and so like "life" if that makes any sense, as if they are born perfect.
Nice, Mieny! I was @ the MoMA ~ a week ago and thought your work should be in there! It exceeds a lot of the brilliance that I saw there.
where are you little lady??xoxooxox
Love your blog...it si so clean and white...
i started writing a long response here but never finished it...now the moment has past and those thoughts seem disconnected with my state of mind now...but still want to let you guys know that i very much appreciate the comments you leave for me here. your words linger with me...some for encouragement, small bursts of love needed at times, and some others, take me further with my making and exploring, all of which i am grateful for. thank you...
where have I been? I love these.

They say the eyes are the windows to the soul. I dont know what them eyes was the windows to and I guess I'd as soon not know. But there is another view of the world out there and other eyes to see it and that's where this is goin.
